The GNR Center for Research and Support for Specific Victims (NAIVE) have detained between 14th and 16th September, three men aged between 26 and 55 on suspicion of domestic violence in the municipalities of Alenquer and Torres Vedras.
In the context of investigations, there was evidence of non-compliance of the court orders that led to the arrest of three suspects. These Orders prevent them from contacting or approaching the victims of physical and psychological harassment.
In a more severe situation, which occurred in the municipality of Torres Vedras, after an judicial interrogation, the detainee was remanded after the GNR seized a 6.35 mm caliber pistol and a 12 caliber rifle.
