The Director General of Health recommends masks to be worn in all enclosed spaces where they may be a concentration of people. This includes shops, pharmacies, public transport and shops generally.
It is stressed that wearing masks must be accompanied by other measures, already recommended, such as social distancing, frequent hand washing and respiratory hygiene.
