A 43-year-old woman was detained at Humberto Delgado airport in Lisbon on suspicion of committing a crime of drug trafficking.
In a statement, the Foreigners and Borders Service (SEF) said that the woman, of foreign nationality, was intercepted upon arrival in the country when documentary checks were being carried out on passengers on a flight from Brazil.
SEF added that the woman was “Suspected of transporting narcotic drugs and confirmed that she had swallowed 23 capsules of liquid cocaine,” says the SEF
