On 3rd November the GNR Funchal seized in Câmara de Lobos area, 1281 euros in cash and illegal gambling listings involving values amounting to 20 thousand euros.
As part of a an operation to combat operation to illegal gambling, the GNR checked many shops in Câmara de Lobos village, and seized the game explorer and betting listings and accounting listings for the commonly known as the “Jogo do Bicho” (“Critter Game”) involving values amounting to 20 thousand euros, and seized 1,281 euros in cash.
They were also identified three individuals as scouts / recruiters for illegal gambling. The material seized will be sent to the Santa Misericordia de Lisboa and the amount of cash deposited in the bank account of the Department of Santa Misericordia Games Lisbon
