The GNR Territorial Madeira Command carried out a series of operations, during the week of 21 to 27 October, which were aimed at monitoring the coast and the territorial sea and the prevention, detection and investigation of tax and customs offenses, protection of nature and environment. During the operation they registered the following operational data:
Seizures: 140 liters of alcoholic beverages by irregular release for consumption.
General supervision: 27 notices of administrative offense, highlighting 11 in the outstanding goods regulation; 3 concerning animal welfare; and one concerning excise duty.
