If you wish to lodge a complaint against those who want to benefit by causing damage to another person through fraudulent inducement or promise of employment or pursuance of a professional activity in Portugal or abroad.
Art 222 of the Criminal Code
1 – Whoever, with intent to obtain for themselves or third unlawful enrichment, causing financial loss to another person, through deception or promise of work or employment abroad, shall be punished with imprisonment up to five years or a fine of up to 600 days.
2 – The same penalty shall be punished who, with intent to obtain for themselves or third unlawful enrichment, causing a person resident abroad financial loss through grooming or promise of employment or employment in Portugal.
3 – Are correspondingly the provisions of paragraphs 2 and 3 of Article 206, and paragraph 2 of article 218. º.
