Art 169 of the Criminal Code

1 – Who, professionally or for profit, promote, encourage or facilitate the exercise of prostitution by another person shall be punished with imprisonment from six months to five years.

2 – If the agent committing the crime under the preceding paragraph:
a) By means of violence or serious threat, and

b) Through ruse or deception;

c) With the abuse of authority resulting from a family relationship, guardianship or trusteeship, or hierarchical dependence, economic or employment, or

d) Taking advantage of the mental incapacity or any other situation of vulnerability of the victim

Is punished with imprisonment from one to eight years.
