SEF apprehends six persons for working illegally

The Foreigners and Borders Service (SEF), with the collaboration of the National Republican Guard, carried out a surveillance action in the Arganil area, in which it identified seven foreign citizens in an irregular situation, detected working without documentation for this purpose.

The individuals concerned were found to have worked irregularly for a national company, having entered the national territory under a visa-free regime for tourism purposes, which is why they could not carry out employment in Portugal.

Of the seven citizens detected, one had previously been detained for falsification of documents and irregular stay.

The remaining six were notified of voluntary abandonment of national territory, within a period of twenty days, otherwise, in case of non-compliance, they will be detained and coercively removed from Portugal
