On 5th September the PSP Lisbon Metropolitan Command through the Division of Criminal Investigation, at 00h10 in Monte Abraão in Sintra, arrested three men aged 24 to 48 years caught in the act of drug trafficking.
The suspects were intercepted in the course of a criminal investigation started 6 months ago, in which it was possible to identify a network that operated mainly in the Lisbon area, its main objective the sale of cocaine. The following was seized:
- 16,850 doses narcotic suspected cocaine;
- Six mobile phones
- 1 car;
- 1 counterfeit notes detector;
- 9190 Euros.
The detainees, with no criminal record, appeared 1st Section of the Criminal Court of the District of Lisbon, for the first court hearing, with an application for them to be remanded in prison pending trial.
