The #IPMA predicts an aggravation of hot and dry weather conditions, highlighting:
Maximum temperature with values above 40oC in several regions of the territory, with Yellow and Orange warnings issued for the North and Center regions;
Relative humidity (HRA) below 30% in the general area, with weak recovery during the night;
Conditions favorable to the occurrence of thunderstorms and hail, especially in the North and Center regions.
An aggravation of the risk of fire, with favorable conditions for the occurrence and spread of rural fires, as well as an increase in the difficulty of suppression actions, particularly in the regions most affected by adverse weather conditions.
3. PREVENTIVE MEASURES
The ANEPC reminds that, according to the legal provisions in force:
It is PROHIBITED:
To carry out extensive burning;
On days of Very High and Very High fire risk, to burn large amounts of material;
On days of Very High and Very High fire risk, to fumigate or disinfect apiaries, except if the fumigators have devices to retain fumes;
On days of Very High and Very High fire risk, to use brush cutters, hedge trimmers and loggers, and to avoid the use of chainsaws.

4. HOW TO PROTECT YOUR HEALTH FROM THE HEAT | RECOMMENDATIONS
To protect yourself from the heat, the ANEPC emphasizes the importance of:
Increasing water intake, at least 1.5 liters/day, equivalent to 8 cups;
Applying sunscreen with a factor of at least 30, every 2 hours;
Wearing hats and light, loose and cool clothing;
Opting for light and fresh meals;
Refreshing with water throughout the day;
Paying special attention to chronic patients, children and elderly people.
