The Judiciary Police, through the Department of Criminal Investigation of Funchal, have identified and detained a man of 27 years in Funchal, in compliance with a European Arrest Warrant, issued by the United Kingdom authorities, for the crime of aggravated assault in the context of domestic violence.

The detainee will be present to the competent judicial authorities for the further terms of compliance with the International Mandate.
