The Territorial Command of Madeira, through the Territorial Office of Funchal, from April 1 to May 17, seized about 300 liters of Japanese sake, in Funchal.
Following an operation in catering establishments, in the context of excise duties and in connection with the marketing and sale of alcoholic beverages, that alcohol was seized for breach of the sealing rules and failure to submit the introductory declarations, for the consumption and marketing of spirits, already introduced for consumption in another part of the national territory with differentiated taxation.
Four persons, who owned the establishments, were also constituted as defendants, and four cases of misconduct were issued.
